NB pharmacists say they should be non-critical health care providers

FREDERICTON – The New Brunswick Pharmacists’ Association says its members should be allowed to provide some urgent but non-critical health services.

The association says the expanded role would help ease the pressure at busy hospital emergency rooms.

The association has released the results of a public opinion poll to promote their cause.

The poll says 85 per cent of those surveyed said they were in favour of pharmacists providing more help.
